I met Lynda when she applied to be an intern at our agency. We worked together for almost two years, first through her internship and then afterwards when she was offered a full-time role. She is extremely creative, a skilled writer, and an emerging public relations strategist. We did personality tests one time and she got “machine-gun”. Lots of ideas, fast and furious. Lynda is a joy to have on the team, with her sunny disposition and thoughtful insights on issues.
Lynda is one of Edmonton’s best Public Relations & Marketing professionals. I look up to and admire her unique approach to communications. She is adept at identifying media outlets and achieving press coverage for clients. Her diverse portfolio is a reflection of her ability to work and achieve success across the board. As my direct report at IABC Edmonton, Lynda was a true leader. A specialist with her time divided across many responsibilities, she balanced competing needs with cool ease. Able to inspire, encourage and lead our communications team to achieve great success for our chapter. Lynda has personally been a great mentor to me, always making time to give me advice and share experiences. As they say, “leaders become great not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others.
Thank you so much for all the amazing work you guys did for Edmonton Pridethis past weekend!! You helped us reach a younger audience that we need to continue to embrace, and you also helped us gain some impressive numbers in terms of followers on those platforms. It was our pleasure and our honour to have you be a part of the social media team for this period, and we hope that your project went even better than expected!
As soon as Lynda stepped foot into Berlin’s office, her energy, vibrancy and enthusiasm for the advertising and public relations industry was infectious. Every day she brought a boldness along with her that never overstepped her desire to learn and grow. I loved working alongside Lynda and watching her make leaps and bounds in her growth as a thought leader, never afraid to push the boundaries to make her writing (and our team’s creative work) sing. She is, without a doubt, a positive game changer for any agency who is lucky to have her on their team.
I met Lynda while volunteering with CPRS Edmonton focusing on the Mentorship Committee. She has always been a great source for ideas, a lovely person to brainstorm with and someone you can rely on to do the job well. Alongside her solid PR skills, Lynda is genuine and honest. These qualities encapsulate her professionalism and attention to detail she puts forward in the work she does.
